This is my lovely and kind hearted daughter! Last week we had a whirlwind time getting her home from Australia. Today marks day seven of our quarantine and we are all feeling just fine! This time if year we rarely go to town more then once a week anyway so really not noticing anything out of the ordinary. We are lucky, full freezer and pantry so it’s all good. Will need milk next week so don’t hoard please folks!
This lovely amaryllis I have had for years, it always flowers in March, this year especially appreciated! They are easy to get to flower, keep in south window, keep pretty dry all summer and then start watering more in the fall. It needs the rocks or it falls over pot and all due to that huge flower head! The only way to get it to flower at Christmas is to strictly control the light. I couldn’t be bothered myself. Do you have a lovely one? Do you try to get it to flower at Christmas or is it flowering now too?
